Primed Korean Quiche with Kimchi and Duo of Seaweed

I personally love Korean food, and the people too. I have been several times with Enderun Colleges, went to the wedding of our friends Suzanne and Jason Koh and always seek out the best Korean shops where ever I live and visit on holiday. Having just moved to Pasig I am glad we have some cool Korean shops near us.

I met Russel at our local Korean shop late in 2015 and was delighted to learn he lost almost 6 pounds in 3 months when I saw him again in early 2016. Russel told me he followed the friendly Primed advise I gave to him and his colleagues that evening in 2015 as I bought some kimchi and soju. Russel said he also has a lot more energy and is less hungry having gone Primed. Cool.

In Honor of My Korean Friends Worldwide Here’s Primed Korean Quiche

Shout out to OnYoo, Butler (Kyle Shin), Jason Koh, Bori Kang, Tinsa (technically Vietnamese), Mandy Park, Anna Lee, Soojin, Boram Kim, Grace Lee, Glenn Kim, Winnie Kang, Caleb Han, Jinny Choi, Samuel Ham, Jane Moon and all my other friends.

Ingredients:

Korean Primed Muffins - Ingredients

Nori sheets cut into strips

Malagos Kesong Puti from Davao

Ito-wakame dried seaweed (from your local Korean grocer – can use other seaweeds or even extra nori)

9 eggs

Himalayan salt, pepper and a lot of turmeric (great for you)

Kimchi (the favorite of my great mate Bill Brummitt)

Sardines in olive oil (bought from Legaspi market)

5 Primed Reasons Why I Participate in Triathlons

I enjoy doing triathlons but used to participate in them with the wrong belief that I would get fit and lose fat. Unfortunately that didn’t work. I was a fat, unfit triathlete wasting lots of time. Anything lost can be found again except for time wasted.

Exercise3

I was an idiot. A misguided, well-intentioned idiot, but an idiot non-the-less. I tried the same idiotic routine for 2 years and was still fat, still unfit and still wasting my time.

#Chad2chad_primed(46)

But it gets worse. A lot worse. My idiotic over-training and eating poor food to fuel that training not only hurt me but hurt my family too. They needed my presence but I was wasting time biking and running around in circles too much (just like with sunshine, the poison is in the dose). I was feeding myself cheap, nutrient deficient sugar foods (sugarade, gels, bread, pasta, noodles etc.) and then feeding that to my children. That is something I still regret but excuse myself because I did not know better.

I now know better and these are the reasons I do triathlon events.

Here’s 5 Primed Reasons I Do Triathlon Now – Never to get fit (does not work) or at the expense of sleep or time with my family.

Zudles with Roast Chicken and Vegetables

Primed Roast chicken is a dish we enjoy weekly in our household. It is filling, nutritious and delicious. We usually roast 2 chickens at a time and then use the left overs for school lunch box items and then the bones for Primed Bone Broth.

After having the roast chicken for Saturday dinner I easily made Zudles with left overs for our poolside garden lunch on Sunday.

Primed Rose Ann’s Inspirational Story to be Healthier and Happier

“Hi Chad,

Here’s my primed testimony 🙂 I’m not perfectly doing Primed (I cheat sometimes hahaha) but I hope you’ll find it well. Thank you!

December 2015 was a great time to be delighted on the festive foods that are being prepared on the table. I am a sweet tooth person and I really love desserts (cakes, fruit salad, cheesecakes, doughnuts, rice cakes… you name it, I love it). I am also a fan of coffee which I enjoy a lot during a conversation with a friend (cappuccino, mocha, caramel macchiato, frapuccino, and all that attracts my taste buds to be tickled.) Pasta gets me so crazy…be it red, white or green sauce rocks me so soundly.

One morning around end of December 2015, I woke up that it was really hard to grip my hands. As I tried to close it, I felt the pain and I’m powerless. I was feeling bloated (which made me hard to breathe and feeling heavy) and inflamed which I cannot put my feet on my crisscross sandals.

Period Pain

I also used to get a lot of pains before and during my menstruation period which makes me so emotional and craving for something to eat (as in whatever pops on my mind). Good thing my boss (Judith Staples) had reminded me to start being Primed.

I started doing my Primed meals since January 4, 2016, I get rid of the rice, bread, pasta, noodles and even chocolate drinks and coffee (with cream & sugar) on my meals, to name a few.

Rose Ann breakfast

“Primed breakfast for today! Scrambled egg with cheese and Fried banana in butter with cream cheese and Black coffee!  #EatRight #PrimeForYourLife

Rose Ann Salad

“My Primed salad version of Lettuce, sliced apple, tomato with olive oil and balsamic vinegar with grated cheese.”

Rose Ann Breakfast1

“What’s for dinner? Hooray for scrambled egg and cheese with tomato toppings partnered with fried sweet potato all cooked in Primed Organic coconut oil.”

It was not easy as I kept on thinking that I will get hungry (which I’m quite afraid to be: P). Nevertheless, I pursued my thoughts and body to adopt on the fronting lifestyle.
