Primed NZ Ironman Champs Berns Tan & Jose Mari

Primed Berns and Jose Mari just rocked Ironman New Zealand.

It was a very tough course but they finished with excellent times, had fabulous recovery and did not have to “over-train” in order to hear the wonderful words “You are an Ironman” after swimming 3.8km, biking 180km and running 42.2km.

Berns finished 7th for her age category with a time of 12:23:41.

Jose Mari had an excellent time of 15:40:39. His run was really good with 6:05:06.

Zudles, Broccoli & Spinach with Bagna Caude Sauce

Zudles rock. Thanks to Via for the cool name. Zudles is a far cooler way than saying Zoodles.

You just need a knife to slices your zucchini into thin strips or use this kitchen helper to do the job easily and quickly.

Ingredients:

A lot of onion, garlic and ginger (optional)

Zucchini made into zudles as shown above

Primed Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for initial frying of onion, garlic and ginger

Broccoli that was been lightly steamed (keep the stalks for Primed Gourmet Pizza)

Spinach (the more the merrier)

Bagna Caude Sauce (butter, olive oil, anchovies & grated garlic)

Where is TOXIC Veg/Seed Oil Hiding & Why?

Firstly, why do they dump TOXIC veg/seed oils into so many

products? Because it is cheap.

Secondly, do they know it is TOXIC? Yep.

The list of ingredients is FRIGHTENING and people give this as a treat. What!?! It is probably kinder to punch them in the arm. Don’t punch anyone, but at least that bruising goes away. However, internal bruising (inflammation) can, and does, lead to illness and disease.

Imagine giving someone a box of this carbage? Yikes. What a lovely combination of TOXIC artery clogging veg/seed oil, sugar, grains (same as sugar), chemicals, preservatives and whatever other garbage these type of companies dump in there.

5 Easy Steps to Start Reversing Type 2 Diabetes

You can reverse the condition of Type 2 Diabetes once Primed. So many people are including my Mum.

(2) Start drinking more water. Deuterium depleted water like Evian and San Pellegrino rock. Especially first thing in the morning and throughout the day. Not with your meals though. Allows your digestive processes to work more easily;

(3) Once your food is more nutrient dense you will have more energy. Use this energy to stand more, walk more often (especially post meal) and to start a fun activity like using weights;

(4) Get quality sunshine on your skin daily where possible;

(5) Prioritize quality sleep.

There are a lot more Primed protocols and hacks that my Mum and others are using to Reverse their Type 2 Diabetic condition, these are just some simple ones to get you started.

6 Reasons to Avoid Toxic Vegetable Oils – Part 5 & 6

5. Cholesterol Craziness

When did heart disease start getting out of control? Precisely when society switched from stable, saturated fats to vegetable and seed oils. This switch came via the saturated fat and cholesterol scare prompted by Ancel Keys and the bogus lipid hypothesis, which purported to link saturated fat and high cholesterol with heart disease.

That myth has been thoroughly debunked, yet we’re still suffering the consequences of the scare. In fact, it’s still being pushed today by Big Agriculture — the people who produce these oils — and government institutions who are funded by Big Agriculture.

The craziness is that vegetable oils are promoted as improving cholesterol. What vegetable oils do in many cases is reduce total cholesterol numbers. What nobody told you is that total cholesterol numbers are meaningless. 75% of heart attack patients have a lipid panel that does not indicate high risk for heart attack. Relying on total cholesterol numbers (which is the standard panel) is worse than flipping a coin.

So, what does matter? The size and type of cholesterol is what matters. And while vegetable oils may lower total cholesterol, they skew the size and type of the particles in the wrong direction. 3. Gut Disruption

One of the first things you learn about gluten is it’s ability to disrupt gut flora and function. A lot of the improvements you see in your body when you go gluten-free are due to the healing of systemic inflammation as your body is no longer spending every waking minute attacking ingested gluten or your own tissue depending on your condition.

Unfortunately, if you’re consuming vegetable oils, you’re not able to heal completely. If you’re following strategies to heal your gut, but you’re still consuming vegetable oils, you’re taking one step forward and two steps back.

If you’re tired of getting sick — which is a huge annoyance, right? — then you have to do things that strengthen your immune system. 2. Lopsided Omega-6 to Omega-3 Ratios

We all know how important it is to reduce inflammation.

One way is to consume fats that are considered high in omega-3s (O3) rather than high doses of omega-6s (O6) because O3s have the unique ability to calm the flames of systemic inflammation. But that’s not the whole story.

What matters most is our ratio of O3 fats to O6 fats. The optimal ratio is 1 to 1. Many Americans — due to the overconsumption of O6 fats — are hovering around the 30:1 mark.

Vegetable and seed oils are mostly comprised of O6 fats. Even Canola Oil, which is touted as “heart healthy” and “packed with O3 fats” is a poor choice because the O3 fats in Canola Oil are typically rancid by the time you consume them.

This cool quote from Hippocrates could relate to grains, sugar, non-fermented soy, low-fat stuff and vegetable/seed oils. When you consume these frankenfoods you are doing harm to yourself.
