Primed Jun de Castro is Thriving

After Just 5 Months Primed Down 7 Kilos and Doc Says “Stay Primed.”

“Hi Chad. For my 5 months of the Primed Lifestyle I lost 7 kilos. Sometimes I cheat with a cup of rice but to my dismay I can hardly finish it. My Doctor advise to continue my Primed Lifestyle. I just do brisk walking, marching in place and stretching my arms and neck. I feel great actually. Thank you mate.”

Bye Bye Arthritis

“Hi Chad I’m doing fine and follow your recipes and menus. I feel light and nonetheless no more arthritis pain…”

What You Eat Matters

Please remember, with everything you eat and drink you are either promoting:

(1) Anti-inflammatory fat burning mode; or

(2) Pro-inflammatory fat storing mode.

Less inflammation means less pains and faster recovery. More inflammation means more pain, slower recovery and a reduced immune system to not fight illness/disease as well as you should.

Nutrient loading vs. Carbo loading before a Race

If you eat/drink a lot of sugar like bread, pasta, breakfast cereals, noodles, sugarade, energy gels, crackers etc. then unfortunately you will be dependent on these cheap and harmful carbos as your fuel for sports and life.

What if you could kick this sugar dependency (cheap carbos equal sugar in your body) and eat/drink real and healthy products to better fuel your sporting activities and life.

So many people are upgrading their nutrients. Examples include Ronda Rousey, Jenson Button, Novak Djokovic, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, the Australian cricket team and a lot more. Please see here for more examples.

Los Angeles Lakers v Charlotte Bobcats

Nutrient loading vs. Carbo loading:

Here is a comparison of the 2 different fuel sources available to you. Sugar equals inflammation and is a quick burn fuel. Your brain is 60% fat and this is the preferred fuel sources for your brain and body too.

Nutrient loading feeds your body and brain optimally.

Primed Super Family – Etienne, Sarah and Liam La’Brooy

I have been friends with Etienne and Sarah for most of my 15 years in the Philippines. They are a wonderful family with their son Liam. Luckily I convinced them to adopt the Primed Lifestyle just a few short months ago. Please see their story in their own words below. We can all be healthier and happier.

Etienne and Sarah6

See comments from Etienne and Sarah La’Brooy after 3 months following the Primed for your Life Lifestyle:

From Etienne:

“Sarah and I are powering along with a Primed lifestyle. I am down to 86kgs, so a 9 kilo (20 pound) drop in 3 months!

I feel healthier, sleep better and feel my moods are much better. Sarah is pretty much the same being under 50kg for the first time in many years.

Liam is also MUCH easier to talk to nowadays which we feel is attributable to his Primed Lifestyle (although as a kid he cheats every now and again).”

Etienne had debilitating gout in his foot which was painful and even interrupted his golf game sometimes. Within weeks of going Primed the gout went away and has no ever returned.

The Primed Lifestyle does not have to be expensive or difficult. Whether you are single, constantly travelling, working so hard, are very busy etc. you can maintain this healthier lifestyle. It is a simple matter of always having good food in your fridge and pantry and none of the harmful stuff that makes people sick then fat.

Primed Pantry & Fridge Items Every Day

The Primed Lifestyle allows you, your loved ones, and your pets as well, to do the following:
– Maintain constant blood sugar (and insulin) levels at an optimal range, as well as a consistently good mood.
– Decrease your inflammation, aches and pains, illnesses, potential for disease, stress levels and health issues.
– Increase your metabolism, digestive health, confidence, energy, mental clarity, brain power, skin quality, immune system, sleep quality and happiness.

Oh, you also get to eat real food with real flavors and get unreal health results.

Here are some ideas to help you transition to help make the rest of your life the best of your life.

Primed Kimbap Wraps

My favorite is so easy and so simple yet absolutely delicious. Primed Kimbap Wraps are fabulous and loved by everyone who tries them.

All you need to do is visit your local Korean Grocery and buy items like Nori Sheets, Kelp Sheets, Kimchi and other Primed items.

Then you simply need some other ingredients like canned salmon, sardines or mackerel in olive oil, tuna in olive oil or water, cucumber, carrots, cream cheese, spinach leaves, lettuce leaves and even fried eggs.

You can also buy a sushi mat but not really necessary.

Cold Cuts Rock

Have a look at the beautiful food you can enjoy whilst Primed.

Holiday cuisine

It is also niceto take your food outside if you have a park or grassy area nearby.

We love quality cheese, meats and olives too.

Podium at Run United Philippine Marathon with the Primed Lifestyle

I achieved my first ever running trophy a mere 6 days after my 47th birthday. Yippie. I had fun at the Run United Philippine Marathon and managed 2nd place for the Foreign Category! I did not know there was one but happy there was.

RUPM

I ran my marathon in 3:56 or so and was happy seeing I started with slightly tired legs from using my stand up desk too much on Friday (rookie mistake) as I prepared for my La Salle school Primed presentation.

Pre-Race Nutrition

I ensured I ate lots of eggs with some cream cheese, nuts, kimchi, green veg and coconut oil in the lead up to the marathon. I even had a double shot of Olive Oil. Delicious.

I definitely avoided all grains of course, had no sugar in fruit etc. and tracked my blood sugar so it was 4.2 mmol/L (76 mg/dl) at midnight before the 2am race start. I wanted to ensure I was in full fat burning mode for the race. I did not test my ketones but I am guessing they would have been relatively high.

Blood Sugar Monitor

Of course I wanted to have access to my 50,000 calorie fat tank and not a tiny 2,000 calorie sugar tank.

The Primed Secret on How to Get Abs!

We all have abs. Some abs are simply hidden behind the flabs. Haha.

The way to get abs is not through endless chronic cardio. That will absolutely give you fatigue as you constantly elevate your cortisol levels.

It is best to spend more time in the kitchen making real food meals then you might see your abs come out.

Abs

So, how did Ghia get abs?

“I got them through some high intensity exercise but mainly through eating real food and no longer being scared of quality fats like olive oil and coconut oil. Franz and I try and eat real food and avoid sugars, grains and definitely vegetable oil.”

Primed Super Couple FandG1

Reujen went Primed on February 5th and turned flabs to abs with less training and more eating.

“I couldn’t believe it. I thought Chad was trying to sabotage me. Haha. But I had a lot of virgin coconut oil, green veg and eggs. Even lechon. Then wham, welcome abs. I train less now but am healthier and stronger than ever. And I have abs.”

Are You Dressed to Kill: Limit Using Your Bra and Perhaps Limit Your Chance of Breast Cancer

“The Philippines has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Southeast Asia. Breast cancer is also one of the leading causes of death among Filipino women. Most women with breast cancer have no known risk factors except that they are women. So no one should be exempt from being vigilant.” From I Can Sere foundation.

I believe it is false that the causes of breast cancer are unknown. Hopefully we might learn that ladies could limit their chances with smarter (or no) bra wearing, avoiding soy products, finding better alternatives to mammograms and building your immune system through optimal nutrition.

Please listen to this great podcast. Important for men too.

Cultural genetic disease means we accept what’s normal without questioning it. It is embedded in who we are and how we think as a culture. Well, it is time to question all the information we have been fed and told. Remember the medical industry and drug companies profit greatly from our disease.

Chad’s Sick then Fat Food and Exercise in 2013 compared with Healthy and Fit 2015

I was once a sick, then fat, athlete. I was training too much (up to 25 hours per week) with a misguided formula to be fit and healthy.

I was eating the Standard Australian Diet (SAD) with lots of “healthy whole grains” (there is no such thing) and fueling my exercise with the sugarades, sugar gels and the carbo loading (sugar bread, pasta and noodles) that my fellow athletes were also doing (not the smarter ones though like Jenson Button).

Below is how I looked like with all my excessive cardio (cost of time, money, mental energy, sleep, recovery etc.). I have also included what were then my favorite food.

I was not healthy, vital or as happy as I should have been. I suffered from brain fog, lack of energy and sometimes bad skin.

#Chad sick then fat

Now I train a maximum of 6 hours per week on average, eat according to the Primed Lifestyle and have more energy and mental clarity than I ever imagined.
