I have been a health coach for over 8 years and love helping people to build and boost their immune system functioning naturally. I have helped thousands of people worldwide to reverse conditions like PCOS, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, asthma etc. I am an author of The Primed Life.

Primed Curried Vegetables in Coconut Milk

I used to eat pasta but now I would never eat pasta again because it is such a highly processed nutrient deficient frankenfood. I prefer real food with real flavor that offers more nutrients to better help my mind and body, keep my blood sugars constant and help build my immune system.

Instead of GMO pasta made from the seeds of grasses you can substitute it with cabbage. Here are a few variations of Primed Cabbage “pasta” dishes.

Ingredients

cabbage chili coconut carbonara2

Can include any of the following:

Cabbage (one or two heads of cabbage)
Onions
Garlic
Ginger
Chili
Turmeric
Coconut milk or cream
Coconut oil
Salt and pepper
Assorted greens

Optional

Green and red chils
Cucumber
Bacon
Chicken
Red curry paste
Fried eggs

Onion and garlic and Ginger

Have fun with your ingredients and you can make many variations for your Primed Cabbage Dish like Rebekah Brandauer Jackson Did:

“A Chinese twist on Coconut Cabbage (from Chad Davis) we served it with smoked chicken and garnished with fried chicken skin ~ 12 grams of carbs. My 16 year old daughter had seconds.” From Rebekah Brandauer Jackson. Thanks Rebekah.

Podium at Run United Philippine Marathon with the Primed Lifestyle

I achieved my first ever running trophy a mere 6 days after my 47th birthday. Yippie. I had fun at the Run United Philippine Marathon and managed 2nd place for the Foreign Category! I did not know there was one but happy there was.

RUPM

I ran my marathon in 3:56 or so and was happy seeing I started with slightly tired legs from using my stand up desk too much on Friday (rookie mistake) as I prepared for my La Salle school Primed presentation.

Pre-Race Nutrition

I ensured I ate lots of eggs with some cream cheese, nuts, kimchi, green veg and coconut oil in the lead up to the marathon. I even had a double shot of Olive Oil. Delicious.

I definitely avoided all grains of course, had no sugar in fruit etc. and tracked my blood sugar so it was 4.2 mmol/L (76 mg/dl) at midnight before the 2am race start. I wanted to ensure I was in full fat burning mode for the race. I did not test my ketones but I am guessing they would have been relatively high.

Blood Sugar Monitor

Of course I wanted to have access to my 50,000 calorie fat tank and not a tiny 2,000 calorie sugar tank.

The Primed Secret on How to Get Abs!

We all have abs. Some abs are simply hidden behind the flabs. Haha.

The way to get abs is not through endless chronic cardio. That will absolutely give you fatigue as you constantly elevate your cortisol levels.

It is best to spend more time in the kitchen making real food meals then you might see your abs come out.

Abs

So, how did Ghia get abs?

“I got them through some high intensity exercise but mainly through eating real food and no longer being scared of quality fats like olive oil and coconut oil. Franz and I try and eat real food and avoid sugars, grains and definitely vegetable oil.”

Primed Super Couple FandG1

Reujen went Primed on February 5th and turned flabs to abs with less training and more eating.

“I couldn’t believe it. I thought Chad was trying to sabotage me. Haha. But I had a lot of virgin coconut oil, green veg and eggs. Even lechon. Then wham, welcome abs. I train less now but am healthier and stronger than ever. And I have abs.”

Are You Dressed to Kill: Limit Using Your Bra and Perhaps Limit Your Chance of Breast Cancer

“The Philippines has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Southeast Asia. Breast cancer is also one of the leading causes of death among Filipino women. Most women with breast cancer have no known risk factors except that they are women. So no one should be exempt from being vigilant.” From I Can Sere foundation.

I believe it is false that the causes of breast cancer are unknown. Hopefully we might learn that ladies could limit their chances with smarter (or no) bra wearing, avoiding soy products, finding better alternatives to mammograms and building your immune system through optimal nutrition.

Please listen to this great podcast. Important for men too.

Cultural genetic disease means we accept what’s normal without questioning it. It is embedded in who we are and how we think as a culture. Well, it is time to question all the information we have been fed and told. Remember the medical industry and drug companies profit greatly from our disease.

Ampalaya (Bitter Gourd) is a Rocking Vegetable to Eat Daily

Ampalaya is also known as Bitter Melon and Bitter Gourd. It is actually a vegetable often used in Chinese medicine as it is a powerful tool for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. In fact, the Primed Lifestyle is about stabilizing your blood sugars (and mood), boosting your immune system to better fight disease and thereby helping you to live longer and better. Many Primed clients are no longer diabetic through the easily sustained protocols, of which eating nutrient dense vegetables is one.

Chad’s Sick then Fat Food and Exercise in 2013 compared with Healthy and Fit 2015

I was once a sick, then fat, athlete. I was training too much (up to 25 hours per week) with a misguided formula to be fit and healthy.

I was eating the Standard Australian Diet (SAD) with lots of “healthy whole grains” (there is no such thing) and fueling my exercise with the sugarades, sugar gels and the carbo loading (sugar bread, pasta and noodles) that my fellow athletes were also doing (not the smarter ones though like Jenson Button).

Below is how I looked like with all my excessive cardio (cost of time, money, mental energy, sleep, recovery etc.). I have also included what were then my favorite food.

I was not healthy, vital or as happy as I should have been. I suffered from brain fog, lack of energy and sometimes bad skin.

#Chad sick then fat

Now I train a maximum of 6 hours per week on average, eat according to the Primed Lifestyle and have more energy and mental clarity than I ever imagined.

Santi’s Delicious Primed Selections

We have been buying excellent produce from Santi’s Deli for almost the entire 15 years we have been in the Philippines. We also dine there quite often and now it is a favorite place for me to meet my new Primed clients. The service is always friendly, the prices fair and reasonable with a lot of variety of products to suit a wide audience.

Santi's lunch3

Lauren and Christian love the Santi’s sausages and Natasha and I love their Lamb.
