Joanne from Paper Lens is loving her new Primed Lifestyle: “I never felt healthier, happier and content with what I eat.”

I loved representing Apotheca Integrated Pharmacy and presenting at the Hunt & Gather Grandparents’ Day event.

What inspired me to catch the hot MRT from Ortigas to Glorietta instead of relaxing at home with my family? It was my passion to help Filipinos to live better, longer lives.

I KNOW Primed works (thousands worldwide know too) and want to share it with everyone so we can all be healthier and happier. Well, Joanne was working that day so could not really listen intently. However, after recording the show she listened, learned, implemented and improved her life and that of her family. That is why I love my job.

Reply from Chad: “Thank you for returning the favor and inspiring me even further.

From Joanne Fugoso-Pajarillo:

“Hi Chad! I’m Joanne from Paper Lens. I recorded your talk at Hunt & Gather’s Grandparent’s event at Glorietta. I just want to thank you. One week before the event, I questioned my consumer practices- especially on food.

Since I was also shooting the highlights during your talk, I wasn’t able to listen to you the entire time. But my husband told me that you delivered nothing but real talk. 🙂 And he shared some of your tips.

I was very eager to listen to what you had to say. So right after finishing the exports of all my talks, I watched yours. And I’d like to say that just three days after I ditched rice, bread, pasta and noodles and ate real food, I never felt healthier, happier and content with what I eat.

Immediately (although not visually pa) I felt so much lighterit was easier to move, easier to work, easier to negotiate with my 3 year old daughter. I feel stronger.

I didn’t have my usual back pains and head aches and other body aches.

I thought before that it was natural to feel weaker.

Salamat, Chad. It was really helpful.”

Confessions of a trail Running Virgin – Chef Cyrille

A great race is like a great meal: you never forget it, you relive it in your mind even years later, and it leaves you looking forward to the next one.

I am delighted to share my unforgettable experience as I lost my trail running virginity along the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains.  Just like a great meal it left fabulous memories and an excitement for the next one.

Chad had already told me about the Top 10 Reasons to Try Trail Running  but I wanted to experience it for myself.

My First Ever Trail Run!

2:00 am on Sunday 12th October is the time that I met Chad before we drove to Tanay, Rizal for my first 21k trail run. Yes 2:00am, that is insane, especially when you finish late the night before with a busy service at Impressions Restaurant of Resorts World Manila.

Pimco Trail Running - Chad and CiCou

Six month earlier Chad finished 2nd in his Love A Tree International Trail Running 34km race and was talking about it like crazy.  Saying it’s very good and a fantastic experience for him. I remember he could barely walk the next 2 days after the race.  Despite that, he convinced me to sign up for the next Pimco Sporting Event 21km trail run.

Chad’s Primed Eggs Benedict 3-Ways

Like most people, I love Eggs Benedict. Traditionally Eggs Benedict is served on a toasted English muffin with ham, a poached egg and hollandasie sauce. To make it Primed I have a few other versions for you to try.

I will start with the hollandaise sauce as it is the trickiest part of the recipe but quite easy once you have tried doing it a few times.

Qualifying for the 35th and 38th National Milo Marathon Finals – The His and Hers Story

Ever since Natasha and I got into running we dreamed of joining the iconic Milo Marathon series. We had friends who had run the qualifying races and earned their right to a free marathon in December. That sounded good to us and I attempted to qualify in 2010 but missed out by 19 minutes when I ran 4:08:30.

Luckily we both qualified for the finals in 2011 and 2014. Every marathon gives you a different experience from which to learn.

Heroes Come in All Shapes and Sizes

“A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares.”-Debi Mazar

After the heroic feats of the German World Cup football team it is time to reflect on our local heroes. They look like you and I but they are selfless and always think of others first.

Ok, I confess, I loved beer.

Previously, I could not have imagined a life without beer. Seriously, that is how much I loved the amber ale.
