I had a secret weapon for my Condura Skyway 21km Run Race. It was my Primed Dark Chocolate Honey Bar. It was a great pre-race fuel source and a cool reward for my best half-marathon time.
This was my first 21km road race and I really enjoyed it. It was great to meet friends like Tessa Valdez and achieve my sub 3 hour goal of 2:55:04 to come in number 2300 out of 4300 plus runners.
Great to see you at the run Tessa.
Thanks to Ton and Raul Concepcion for a wonderfully organized race. I am looking forward to improving my 21km time next year already. Or maybe I’ll try the marathon?

A great race is like a great meal: you never forget it, you relive it in your mind even years later, and it leaves you looking forward to the next one.
I am delighted to share my unforgettable experience as I lost my trail running virginity along the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains. Just like a great meal it left fabulous memories and an excitement for the next one.
Chad had already told me about the Top 10 Reasons to Try Trail Running but I wanted to experience it for myself.
My First Ever Trail Run!
2:00 am on Sunday 12th October is the time that I met Chad before we drove to Tanay, Rizal for my first 21k trail run. Yes 2:00am, that is insane, especially when you finish late the night before with a busy service at Impressions Restaurant of Resorts World Manila.
Six month earlier Chad finished 2nd in his Love A Tree International Trail Running 34km race and was talking about it like crazy. Saying it’s very good and a fantastic experience for him. I remember he could barely walk the next 2 days after the race. Despite that, he convinced me to sign up for the next Pimco Sporting Event 21km trail run.

You have so much choice now on the market to get good quality eggs from different farms. The one that I like is from Pamora Farm where Tina and Gerard Papillon have a first class operation. Visit www.pamorafarm.com to see what I mean. They take good care of their chickens and it tastes very much like the egg we can find in France.

Stuffed Vegetables or “Les FARÇIES”
This a dish that my mom (like any French mom) cooks in France. There is a lot of variation, depending on which part of France you come from. There is some preparation, but the finished dish is so yummy that you forget all the hard work when you dig into this beautiful and healthy dish and see the smiling faces of your friends and family.
This is a complete meal! Firstly, there is the meat: ground pork, beef or any poultry, like chicken or duck, even certain fish like Lapu-Lapu or prawns, etc. Secondly, the vegetables used can be any kind of vegetables (this allows you to be creative in choosing your vegetables) and the combination of both makes it a primed recipe.
You can also be creative with this dish by adding some spices to make it more to your liking. So are we ready? Then follow me into my kitchen for the recipe and preparation.
Here we go.
