A super simple dish to prepare that is super nutritious and delicious. You can add your favorite seafood, eggs or other protein or simply leave as a vegetarian dish like I did.
Here are two easy and beautiful recipes to substitute for your rice.
Rice is not one of the ingredients that is part of my Primed Lifestyle. I am seeking to eat more quality proteins, fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, seeds and healthy oils.
Rice was quiet easy for me to stop eating as back in France the only rice that we are eating is more as a cold salad during summer. Rice in France is not like here Philippines, where it is important during a meal, which is why it is so difficult for a Filipino to cut down and totally stop eating.
That is why I came out with these two recipes using daikon radish and squash. Daikon is a very good vegetable used in Japanese and Korean cuisine, is only more or less P 60 per kg, is easy to peel and with this recipe, easy to prepare. The squash is very good as well.

Here is a complete meal in one nutritious slice. It might take a couple of hours of cutting vegetable and other preparations but it is definitely worth the effort. It is also a dish that can be stored in the fridge and eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner on subsequent days.
Traditional lasagne is usually creamy and involves layers of wheat sheets of pasta. As we know, wheat contains gluten, to which a growing number of people have difficulty digesting and choose to avoid. By substituting the pasta sheets with zucchini, squash and eggplant sheets you are making this dish far healthier. You are choosing higher quality foods that won’t spike your blood sugar and are therefore fuelling your body with optimal sources of calories.
