Primed Fruit Muffin Top

My son Christian recently was asked to bring in 20 cookies for his classmates to celebrate the last day of a certain subject. Of course, we would never serve what we know to be harmful ingredients such as grains, sugar and vegetable oil, so we created a Primed Fruit Muffin Top for a healthy snack that I am told by the 20 discerning 12 and 13 year old’s was delicious.

“Carbohydrates Can Kill” Book Review by Jimmy Moore

I have a friend called Jimmy Moore. He has written the book review below on the book of Dr. Robert Su M.D. called Carbohydrates Can Kill. Jimmy Moore is a passionate LCHF proponent because he desperately wants people to live better and longer lives through eating real food. Great Beef at Myron’s Place in Greenbelt 5

I had a most enjoyable Primed lunch at Myron’s Place in Greenbelt 5with 4 other expats on Thursday the 30th April. I did not know that Myron’s is well known for their steaks so I am glad that is what I ordered.

Myrons friends

So, what do 2 Aussies, a Kiwi, a Frenchman and a Dane talk about over lunch?  We all wanted local hero Manny Pacquiao to win against Floyd and we all agreed that the food and ambiance of Myron’s Place is very nice.

Myron’s Place is conveniently located at ground level of Greenbelt 5. The interior design is modern, relaxing and enhanced with the beautiful view of surrounding lush gardens.

Myrons beef duo

My Duet of Bacon-Wrapped Petite US Certified Angus Beef Medallions & Grilled Shrimps was excellent. The waiters gladly substituted the mashed potatoes for extra vegetables which were fabulous. I loved the whole oven-roasted garlic knob. Being Primed I skipped the bread of course.

Primed Super Couple Franz & Ghia

A picture sometimes says a lot more than words. So, here is the featured image again of Primed Franz and Ghia Fabiana.

Primed Super Couple

Ghia said “I love working out with my husband. We motivate each other and push each other to be the best that we can be.

Our diet is not totally 100% clean yet but we’re working on it to keep it balanced.  We try and eat real food and avoid sugars, grains and definitely vegetable oil.

We really felt the difference in every change we’re up to. Even Franz lost a few pounds and still he felt stronger in everything he does. And that only proves that eating real food is much better than anything else.

This is a permanent life style changed for me and Franz that is easy to maintain. And we are so happy because we choose to live happy and healthy at this early age.

This is the best bonding a couple like us could have until we grow older.”

Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee with Coconut Milk

I love a nice Primed Coffee. It is either a double espresso or a Primed Iced Coffee in the Philippines heat.

I even made sure to have a Primed Iced Coffee waiting for me in my fridge after my Malaysian Ironman and Melbourne Ironman. This great drink served a dual purpose as: (a) A drink to look forward to after the race; and (b) To aid my recovery due to the great fats in the coconut milk.

Ingredients 1: Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee

Iced Cinnamon Coffee ingredients

6 teaspoons of coffee
1/2 glass of home-made coconut milk
2 glasses of water
ground cinnamon spice
ice cubes

We use cinnamon sticks bought from an Indian grocery shop along Jupiter Street and then grind them in our grinder. You can also buy the cinnamon shaker from the spice rack where you normally shop.

It is Very Easy to Make your Own Coconut Milk

See how easy here.

Ingredients 2: Iced Coffee with Coconut Sugar

Iced Coffee ingredients

6 teaspoons of coffee
1/2 glass of coconut milk
2 glasses of water
coconut sugar to taste (or quality honey) – both optional only
ice cubes

Method:

Pretty simple of course but I dissolve my coffee in a little hot water, add ice cubes, add coconut milk, add cinnamon (or coconut sugar or both) and add water. Then stir and serve. Easy, yet delicious and nutritious.

It is an excellent accompaniment for a Primed breakfast.

Iced Coffee Breakfast

Eggs and bacon are always a favorite in the morning with my Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee.

Equally fabulous is chicken thigh topped with tomato and grilled cheese on a bed of chili zucchini “noddles” with my Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee.

The health benefits of Coconut Milk are very long and far reaching.

Coconut Oil Rocks Too

I often have a shot of Virgin Coconut Oil before having my Primed Iced Coffee. If I have my coffee hot then I put the shot into my black coffee with a splash of coconut milk.

Friendly advice: Do not add coconut oil to your Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee. It becomes solid and is not easy or pleasant to drink cold. I have made this very mistake before. Twice!

Coconut liquid breakfast

Having a delicious Primed Cinnamon Iced Coffee is very filling and satisfying and can even serve as a meal replacement for breakfast if you wanted to slowly ease yourself into Regular Intelligent Fasting and experience the unique health benefits associated with it.

Some other great reasons to fast include the way it helps regulate your insulin as explained in this fabulous graph provided by Washington Dr. Ted Naiman from Burn Fat Not Sugar.

Why Are So Many People Adopting a Primed Lifestyle?

I am ecstatic with the number of people worldwide who are adopting a healthier, Primed lifestyle.

In India, America, Australia and the Philippines, to name just a few countries, so many people are going Primed, and experiencing wonderful benefits for their health, family and life in general.

image

After adopting a Primed Lifestyle they become healthier. This then helps them become happier. Their sleep improves, their ailments become less, they get more energy, more mental clarity and they realize it is best to eat to live, rather than live to eat!

Here are 5 Reasons Why People are Adopting a Primed Lifestyle

1. You Eat Better Food

The Primed Lifestyle is simple. You eat higher quality food (not more expensive necessarily) so as to feed your mind and body optimally.

I gladly train you, your family and staff on how to cook nutritious and delicious food as part of my Wellness Coaching. Be warned though, once you start eating properly it is impossible to go back to eating the low quality stuff!

What have been your good deeds whilst running?

Ok, here is a slightly off-beat post on the benefits of running.

Yesterday I was having a nice chilly run in Geneve, Switzerland, when it started raining slightly. I love it when it rains as the run becomes more fun. However, the roads become wet and I noticed a motor cyclist fall off her bike on a slippery portion of the road whilst turning.

As soon as I saw her fall I sprung to action, helped her up, put her bike on its stand and got her a chair. I then helped calm her down and ensured she would be alright. Luckily she was ok with just dented pride and torn pants.

I am glad I am very observant whilst I run and got to help the fallen Swiss cyclist.

This got me thinking of the other times I have done good deeds whilst out running. I’ll share mine here in the hope you can also comment and share yours. After all, we runners are nice and caring people. Right?

“Primed” LCHF Aussie Cricketers on Top of the World

Congratulations to the Australian Cricket Team becoming the Champion One-Day Team in the World.

They did it with a large number of the team following the great advise of Dr. Peter Brukner who is a “Primed” Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) advocate for optimal sporting performance.

This is but the tip of the iceberg with many more individuals and teams already adopting, or going, Primed LCHF (including some major soccer teams).

High Fat and Low Carb (LCHF) for Better Performance – For your Sport, Work and Life

Cheap processed carbs can be extremely harmful for your body by increasing inflammation among other problems but complex carbohydrates are an excellent source of nutrition and fiber.

Saturated fats are an ideal fuel for your mind and body.  Remember, your brain is 60% fat and mother’s milk is 50% fat. When you become a LCHF fat burner you have access to approximately 40,000 calories for energy compared with your sugar burning buddies (around 2,000).
