Dreams do come true. Ever since creating the Primed for your Life Lifestyle in late 2013/early 2014 I dreamed about being on That Paleo Show podcast. The reason is because That Paleo Show was instrumental in getting me from being a “fatish”, unhealthy triathlete/person into a healthier one.
I will be forever grateful for the passionate, real food advocates who enlightened me on how to optimally nourish my mind and body. It then inspired me to follow in their footsteps and share my knowledge so as to help even more people.
Please listen to Primed for your Life being featured on That Paleo Show #121 with Chad Davis and Reujen Lista talking about the Primed Lifestyle.
Reujen and I loved doing the podcast with Dr. Brett Hill, Steve Hayter and Sarah Stewart. We had a blast and hope you have a laugh and also learn a bit as well.
Please see That Paleo Show podcasts that you can listen to so as to learn more about how to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Some of my own personal favorite programs are the following:
#25 and #78 with Jimmy Moore
#35 with Dr. Peter Dingle
#64 with Dr. Ronesh Sinha – The South Asian Health Solution
#103 with Dr. Terry Wahls
#99A with Chef Pete Evans
#61 with Liz Wolfe – Eat Your Yolks
#41 and #60 with Dr. Loren Cordain
#87 with Mark Sisson
#5, 6, 9 & 13 about why grains/gluten, sugar, soy and legumes are less than ideal ingredients for your health.
Listen to the man with the biggest heart in the business, Jimmy Moore, as he discusses his book Keto Clarity.
I am over joyed that Primed for your Life will also be featured on Low Carb Conversations with Jimmy Moore, Dietitian Cassie and Friends which features conversations with a variety of voices in the Low-Carb, Paleo and Real Food movements, expressing many different points of view. Jimmy Moore also has almost 1000 podcasts on Jimmy Moore’s Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb show and is a definite idol of mine. Jimmy rocks.
What Is The Primed Lifestyle?
The Primed Lifestyle is about eating real food to maximize your nutrients and minimize your inflammation. This then helps you maintain a constant blood sugar level within an optimal range so you can enjoy more time for life. It is simply my twist on the paleo real food way of eating, combined with the Primal Blue Print of Mark Sisson, and evolving with a Lower Carb, Higher Healthy Fat slant.
The Primed Lifestyle and That Paleo Show share many commonalities such as looking at life from a holistic point of view. Quality food is vital, but so to is a positive mind set, getting sunshine on your body, minimizing your stress, moving your body and finding an exercise YOU love, getting quality sleep, improving your digestion, playing and laughing more, as well as being grateful for all of your life’s blessings and showing compassion and kindness whenever and wherever you can.
I love the ethos of That Paleo Show where they are passionate and dedicated to helping people “Make the rest of their lives the best of their lives”.
Dr Brett Hill, aka the Barefooted Caveman, and original founder of That Paleo Show, has written a fabulous book called How to Eat an Elephant. Get your copy of the wildly popular book here.
