Bagna Caude Sauce ROCKS
Ingredients are super simple for Bagna Caude Sauce:
- Butter – grass fed is best. Like Anchor.
- Anchovies in olive oil. NEVER toxic killer veg oil like canola.
- Garlic. Can be shaved or over roasted with turmeric.
- Olive oil. Not veg oil which is a heart attack inducing cheap as chips crap ingredient.
Below I roasted garlic in the oven after tossing it in Virgin Coconut Oil and adding turmeric, pepper and Himalayan salt. Delicious on its own too.
Method for Steamed Eggs with Fresh Fish and Bagna Caude Sauce:
- Steam quality eggs for 9 minutes. See picture below left with cabbage cups inside to see how a steamer looks.
- Put into ice bath after 9 minutes to stop cooking process. Picture below right shows eggs chilling in their ice bath.
- Peel and put into a bowl. Steam extra for the fridge and breakfast tomorrow.
- Add your Fishmongers Daily Catch fish in with your eggs after oven-baking or pan frying in butter or coconut oil.
- Simply add your Bagna Caude Sauce over the top. Feel free to add green vegetables too
- How much Bagna Caude sauce? The more the merrier with the proviso you then eat again only when hungry because this dish is mega nourishing and filling. And YUM.
